Julie and I couldn’t take our yard anymore. We decided that there wasn’t any hope of saving it and the only thing that we could do was to start over. So that is what we did. With the help of my amazing brother-in-law Mark, I say help however the only reason that we have our new yard at all is because of him. He does some amazing work which you can see if you scroll down.

Here is the new front yard, we still have a small bit of planting but it looks great. This is after it being in for over a week.

This is the right side of our front yard. You can see the neighbors grass which is what our yard use to look like. What a huge difference.
So there you have it, a new yard and a whole lot more responsibility as we have to water the sucker at least three times a day to keep it green. It is nice to come home to our house and not feel like we have the worst yard in the neighborhood. Hopefully this will help our house sell.
Thanks again Mark you rock!
I sense a little photoshop action on the color of that lawn. However, it still looks lovely. I can’t wait to hear what your water bill is going to be next month.

Hey! I know of a really great little house near downtown that’s still for sale!
The price keeps getting lower.
Nice yard – I hope things go well for you and that you guys get it sold soon.
